With little investment over the past decade, the much quality brandy and proudly South African iconic brand was in need of some love. 

THE CHALLENGE:

Update the brand and packaging to do justice to the quality of the product, so as to resonate with a new consumer base without alienating our loyal base.   

THE SOLUTION:

We defined the brand positioning, story, tone and Design Identity. Already resonating with Afrikaans speaking South Africans from different cultural and social backgrounds, this was something the brand could proudly own. The brand personality resonates with what it means to be Afrikaans. Capturing unique attributes that are social, inclusive, generous, humorous...always social ...‘Altyd Gesellig’.   

THE RESULT:

New packaging and unique Brand Visual Identity to help the brand resonate with new and existing brandy consumers.  “A quality crafted brandy that proudly embraces a diverse contemporary Afrikaans culture”
